Our Waka Whānau is one way of bringing our DBS Beat and school values to life within school. Each student is placed into a Waka Whānau where we will build our value of whanaungatanga, connect with others across the whole school and aim to be the greatest Waka each week.

Don Buck School has four Waka Whānau:

Waka Toa – To Be Brave and Courageous

Waka Mana – To Be Proud and Confident

Waka Kaha – To be Strong and Determined

Waka Manaaki – To be Supportive and Caring
