Learning from Home

The government is currently working on ways to provide online learning to families. Our school currently does not have the technology to provide online learning and a large number of our families do not have the technology to receive online learning.

Experts advise that, to lower stress, parents do not try to teach the curriculum but should try to do daily enrichment activities that encourage the use of literacy and numeracy skills. Also, read daily to or with your children. Families should also make sure children have some sort of physical activity every day-outside if this is practical.

There are a multitude of websites to support families with ideas and activities. Below are just a few of these that may help.
